‘My Girls’, Anna Tur’s New Release by Lowlita Records

The EP is a beautiful homage to two very important things in the Ibizan artist’s life and will be released on November 18th.

“My Girls” is Lowlita Records’ ninth release, a label created by Anna Tur, Gonçalo and Hosse that combines the groove of House with the force of Techno. It’s an authentic ode to emotions created by Anna Tur herself.

The EP is made up of two original cuts. The first is “Georgina”, a track inspired by the great changes that can happen in life and the intensity of the emotions that brings. When you listen to it, you’ll be taken on a euphoric journey full of experiences. The synths, in particular, contribute to this feeling especially when they’re combined with the melodic twists.

“Lola” is directly inspired by the Disco revival of the 90s and takes the essence of this sound and combines it with the strength of contemporary Tech sounds. The track exudes joy, the desire to close your eyes, raise your arms and enjoy. It’s authentic happiness in its purest form. The same happiness that Lola, Anna Tur’s dog, experiences when running along Illetes beach in Formentera. Of course, the dog is the inspiration for the name of the label too!

The artwork is an original work by Gaap, an Ecuadorian artist based in Barcelona who defines himself as netexpressionist. His work uses narcissism both in the sense of criticism and attraction with the aim of transcending and causing true growth; both personal and social.

“My Girls” comes after Anna Tur’s previously successful release with Cristian Viviano by Descending Order Label. It will be available from November 18th on Beatport and Spotify. Other digital platforms will receive it on December 2nd.
